Tyler Bate made his main roster debut after spending several years in NXT. He was immediately paired with Pete Dunne, and the two put on hard-hitting matches against the likes of The Judgment Day at Elimination Chamber. The tag team was eventually sent back down to NXT, where the 27-year-old unfortunately injured himself.
Tyler Bate penned an emotional post on Instagram, letting his fans know about his recent major injury. He posted a photo of himself wearing a sling and a few more photos of him undergoing surgery. The British wrestler captioned the photos, saying that he had torn his left pectoral major and tendon off the bone during last week’s NXT show.
The former NXT Superstar had successfully undergone surgery, and he said that everything had been put back where it belonged. Needless to say, he will be absent from WWE TV for a while, and he has asked his fans not to miss him too much. Despite the injury, he claimed to be in positive spirits. He was looking forward to seeing his fans and wrestlers soon, sending them lots of love.
Bate ended the post by calling himself his iconic nickname, a “big strong boi.” This Instagram post saw comments from various WWE superstars who sent their wishes to the Iron Master. Some of these superstars included Liv Morgan, Dragon Lee, Natalya, Indi Hartwell, and JD McDonagh.

On the latest episode of Raw, Michael Cole informed fans about two wrestlers who had been sidelined from WWE programming. On the show, Pete Dunne went one-on-one with Bronson Reed. During the Bruiserweight’s entrance, the veteran said that his tag team partner, Tyler Bate, had suffered a pectoral injury on the July 2nd episode of NXT during a match against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.
Later in the show, WWE aired a video package for The Final Testament. In the footage, Karrion Kross boasted about his attack on Kofi Kingston following his loss to Xavier Woods. Michael Cole also announced that the former WWE Champion was suffering from an AC joint sprain in his shoulder. This could cause him to be out of action for a number of weeks.
Kofi Kingston wrestled Kross on the June 24th episode of Raw, where he allegedly suffered this injury. This leaves Xavier Woods to his own devices in The New Day’s battle against The Final Testament.
