Tyreek Hill wants to know if the Simpsons predicted the alleged assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. The Miami Dolphins wide receiver, like most of the world, tuned in on their television sets to hear what message the Republican leader had to say during his rally in Pennsylvania on July 13.

Six minutes into his speech, gunshots were heard as Donald Trump defended himself by ducking under the podium. The Secret Service members rushed in to provide cover.

When he stood up, cameras caught blood gushing out of his right ear. Without wasting much time, the security escorted him to a safe space and later informed him that the former POTUS was safe and sound.

Tyreek Hill, who loves to keep up to date with the country’s politics, made a snarky comment on social media. He inquired whether the famous TV cartoon ‘The Simpsons’ predicted the shooting of Donald Trump at his rally.

Hill got his wish fulfilled as one of his followers shared a screenshot in the comment section. Apparently, the Simpsons saw this coming from a mile away.

This wasn’t an isolated occasion when Homer Jay Simpson and his fictional family accurately predicted real-world events. The Independent wrote that an episode titled ‘Bart to the Future’ (2000), a clever play on the cult classic ‘Back to the Future’, predicted Trump becoming the President of the United States of America.
