Tyreek Hill trolls Miami fans by getting inspired from Antonio Brown’s infamous walk-off hours after announcing his intent to leave Miami

It has been a disastrous week for Miami sports. A few days back, Jimmy Butler expressed his intent to leave the Miami Heat franchise as he no longer felt joy in playing for the team, and last night, Tyreek Hill expressed his disappointment in the Dolphins being a losing franchise and expressed his intention to consider other options this off-season.

Tyreek Hill made it clear that he is looking to leave the Miami Dolphins after this season. His frustration with the team peaked around the fourth quarter when he refused to enter the game despite being healthy as confirmed by Head Coach Mike McDaniel in his postgame conference.

His move was quickly compared to Antonio Brown’s infamous walk-off during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game against the New York Jets in January 2022. The wideout left the field as his team trailed 24-10 in the third quarter after he was not getting the ball enough and took his jersey off. That was the last time he played in the NFL.

Tyreek Hill’s views on staying in Miami have changed drastically over the past year

Hill is being perceived in the same light as Antonio Brown and De’Vondre Campbell now that he refused to do what was required of him during the game. To show the critics he does not mind the comparisons, the Dolphins’ wideout edited his face onto AB’s picture of him leaving the field shirtless and made it his profile picture on X.

Tyreek Hill‘s statements after the Dolphins’ 32-20 loss to the Jets were surprising but considering he recorded under 1,000 yards for only the third time in his nine-year career, he had reasons to be frustrated. Over the entirety of this season, Hill has kept repeating that he and his family love Miami and that he would want to stay here and finish his career here.

However, his views about the same have changed as it is clear the Dolphins cannot be considered Super Bowl contenders. For a guy who was on a team as successful as the Chiefs, Hill ought to be regretting his move to Miami. Financially, his decision to leave Kansas City was a no-brainer but from a competitor’s perspective, it was the worst. In addition to this, he had continued to hail Tua Tagovailoa and went on to claim he was a more accurate passer than Patrick Mahomes was at one point.

Now, the wideout has reached a breaking point and it is visible. His former team has gone on to win two Super Bowls since and they are the top seed in this year’s playoffs vying for a three-peat.
