Someone is inevitably left out on a roster with everyone as a star. Given the volatility regarding some of Kerr’s other roster selections, Haliburton’s readiness to accept a position in which he scarcely played was quite useful to Team USA. In four years’ time, the veterans of the team might not return for the next Olympics. As such, Haliburton’s experience from the Paris Olympics will prove a valuable asset.
