The Boston Celtics swept the Indiana Pacers 4-0 in the Eastern Conference Playoff Finals and clinched the ECF title. Notably, the Pacers’ star man Tyrese Haliburton missed the whole of Game 4 due to injury and had to spend his time on the sidelines in his side’s poor defeat to the Celtics. Not only that, Haliburton also shared his views after the match.

Haliburton claimed that it was tough watching his side lose from the sidelines and was not able to help his side in this series. He also claimed that it is the healthier team that always wins such crucial playoff series in the NBA. Haliburton had been performing sensationally for the Pacers throughout the 2023-24 NBA season.

It's been really frustrating, It's been trash, honestly. You work so hard to get somewhere and something happens that's kind of out of your control. Obviously, that's frustrating for me. But what I've understood more than anything is that usually in the playoffs, the healthier team wins.

On the other hand, the Boston Celtics have been dominant in this series and finished the series in game 4. The Celtics’ star players, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were on fire against the Pacers. Tatum dropped 26 points, 8 assists, and 13 rebounds, whereas Brown dropped 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists in game 4.

Jayson Tatum was not bothered about Tyrese Haliburton in game 3 win

The Indiana Pacers‘ star man, Tyrese Haliburton missed Game 3 due to an injury in the Eastern Conference Playoff Finals against the Boston Celtics. However, the Celtics’ star man Jayson Tatum was less bothered about Haliburton when he was questioned before Game 3 about him.

Tatum’s words did come into play as the Celtics were not bothered by Haliburton’s absence. They cruised to victory in Game 3 and eventually swept them off in Game 4, clinching the Eastern Conference Playoff title of the 2023-24 NBA season. It remains to be seen how they perform in the NBA finals against one of the Dallas Mavericks/Minnesota Timberwolves this season.
