LIV Golf star Tyrrell Hatton has once again found himself in hot waters. At the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, the Englishman lost his cool again and destroyed a tee box in frustration. This has once again left the fans angry on social media.
The incident took place in the third round after a hot start from him. The 33-year-old had an eagle, a bogey, and a birdie before he came up at the par-3 7th hole.
At this hole, his shot would find the middle of the green. This led to him thumping the tee box marker not once but twice. He was later summoned by the tournament officials for this.
Following the round, he opened up about this incident. He admitted that he should not have done that and claimed that it was just a bit of frustration on his end.

On several occasions, Hatton has been found losing his cool on the golf course. Last year in November, he would snap his golf club in frustration after a poor shot at the DP World Tour finale.
Sky Sports commentator Ewen Murray would slam the golfer for his actions live on air and said it was time for him to “change”. He would even call these actions a “terrible influence” on the future generation.

“It’s time for a change I’m afraid. That’s a terrible influence on the next generation. I’m sorry to say it, I’m his biggest supporter. We’ve all had our moments but he’s having too many of them.”

Honestly the biggest douchebag in golf – and this whole schtick with Hatton is so damn tedious and old. He’s a toddler, and needs to grow up

I’m sure he’ll receive a fine, complain it isn’t fair, then pay with $100s & ask for a receipt.🤷♂️

The 🤬 language throughout the round is far worse in the professionalism aspect.
Just as in slow play…fines mean nothing. Penalty strokes or DQ is only incentive to change.⬇️ pic.twitter.com/YROHYSZ0g0
Should be DQ’d.

At the round three, Hatton found himself one-shot behind leader Daniel Hillier. The two of them along with Ewen Ferguson are paired in the final group for Sunday’s clash. Hatton would be hoping for a similar performance in round three as he aims to win his first Hero Dubai Desert Classic title.
