John Cena‘s WWE swansong is within touching distance as the wrestler-turned-actor is set to bid adieu to the squared circle on December 13. He will have his last match at Saturday Night’s Main Event at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

The iconic event has already moved over 15,000 tickets with a guaranteed sell-out in the cards. With the show slated to emanate from the nation’s capital, would Donald Trump possibly make an appearance? Former WWE star Tyrus recently opined on it during an interview with TMZ Inside The Ring.

The wrestler with a short-lived WWE stint affirmed that if the POTUS commits to being there, he’d definitely make the trip. Tyrus stated that Trump might even get involved with the finish of Cena’s final match and further quipped that who knows if the Queensland-born politician ends up hitting a Binding Resolution in the midst of it.

1000%. If he says he’s going, he’s going. He might even be in the finish. He might hit a Binding Resolution in the middle of that match… I definitely think that if the president says he’s going to be there, he’s going to be there because he’s a fan. He loves it.

Tyrus also underscored the historical significance of every single fan packing that building under the same roof as Cena and the US President. The Fox News panelist hailed Trump as the most powerful man in the world and asserted that no matter what one thinks of him, they’d carry a feather in their caps for the rest of their lives by merely attending the same event with Donald Trump at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

In October, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE does intend to invite leading political figures to partake in Cena’s last match. Even though Trump, as of then, hadn’t confirmed coming, one could still expect a White House influx on December 13.

Trump’s schedule for the day includes him being at the Army vs. Navy football game in Baltimore at 3 pm EST. That would leave him with enough on the clock to make it back to Washington if he wants to see John Cena bow out.

Tyrus lists his choices for John Cena’s last match WWE opponents

There’s still smoke and mirrors engulfing the mystery of John Cena‘s last-ever WWE opponent. Pretty much every fan has their own picks for it with a justifiable rationale. But what does Tyrus want to see? In the aforementioned interview, the 52-year-old reminisced about some of Cena’s greatest WWE rivals, starting off by saying that he and Dave Bautista got along tremendously despite being polar opposites.

WWE’s pre-show panelist Peter Rosenberg also recently shared his itch to see Bautista come out of retirement one last time to give ‘The Cenation Leader’ a poetic send-off. Apart from namedropping ‘The Animal’, Tyrus said he’d like Triple H to step up against Cena. But it’s remotely impossible if one thinks realistically, as the WWE CCO is done from an in-ring capacity after suffering that cardiac event in 2021.

‘The Game’ has a heart defibrillator installed in his chest. Tyrus also threw in names like Edge and Brock Lesnar as possible last match opponents for the 17-time world champion. While the ‘Rated-R Superstar’ is currently signed with AEW, he has already shared his thoughts on his great rival’s WWE retirement. Coming on to Lesnar, the latter pummeled Cena not that long ago at Wrestlepalooza.

‘The Beast’ took a page out of his own playbook from SummerSlam 2014 to make John Cena helpless. The WWE fans went ballistic at the company for booking Cena in such a horrible way against the 10-time world champion. Amid all the fuss about Cena’s final opponent, WWE has reportedly mapped it out with Gunther being penciled in as the one. It’d be interesting to see if that holds up or not.
