Tyson Fury calls out Francis Ngannou offering some “Gypsy King Power”, UFC champ wants to finish Jon Jones first
Tyson Fury calls out Francis Ngannou
Tyson Fury seems very serious in fighting the UFC Heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou. In a recent Twitter video, Fury calls out Francis and Dana offering them what could possibly be the biggest crossover in combat sports.
The World Heavyweight Boxing champion has been after Francis ever since ‘The Predator’ said he was open to fighting Tyson Fury on the Flagrant Podcast. In the podcast, Francis revealed his dream of fighting Tyson Fury. Fury has not shied away from welcoming the challenge from the most feared man on this planet.
Tyson Fury earlier today uploaded a video on Twitter calling out Francis and asking him to come out and fight the Gypsy King in a boxing match. The idea of fighting in a boxing-style match was proposed by Francis himself in the interview. Tyson Fury has also previously called the UFC champ, “easy work” in the past.
In his Twitter call-out, the Gypsy King said, “This is a message to Francis Ngannou and the UFC guys. Look, you want some of this Gypsy King money? You know where to come and find it. You want some of this Gypsy King power? I’ll give it to you. Any time, any place, anywhere, seven days a week and twice on a Sunday, you big ugly dosser.”
Ngannou wants Jon Jones first before Tyson Fury
Though fighting Tyson Fury would bring a lot of money and fame, Francis Ngannou has Jon Jones on his mind. After winning Stipe Miocic for the belt, the Cameroonian fighter wants to defend it against Jon Jones. There are strong rumors that the fight won’t happen but Francis is pushing for what might be his biggest fight in UFC.
Francis Ngannou replied to the video tweet of Tyson and wrote back, “I’ll take care of Jon Jones first then come after Tyson Fury.” UFC has given hints that Derrick Lewis will be fighting Francis in a rematch instead of Jon Jones but Ngannou hasn’t given up on that fight.
If you were Francis Ngannou what would you do? Defend your heavyweight title and then go take the Tyson Fury fight or take the biggest crossover in combat sports?
