(Video) “Ready to finish the job…” Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk 2 presser sees undisputed champ arrive as viral game character ‘Agent 47’
Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk 2 DAZN Pay-per-view (PPV) press conference sees the undisputed champ donning character Hitman 'Agent 47'.

Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk 2’s Press Conference took shape Wednesday, October 24th. The kickoff media presser feature was to promote their rematch on December 21st at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. The event began at 5:00 pm UK time and noon ET. It was a given that the Brit heavyweight would be jovial and quippy as usual. But no one expected Usyk to turn up as the global fave game character ‘Hitman’ aka Agent 47!
Assassin is the game they gave him, and the Ukrainian delivered. Oleksandr Usyk sniped and edged Fury out to a numbers game of 115-112 and 114-113 to become the 4-belt era’s first undisputed heavyweight. Under the didactics of boxing promoter Frank Warren, Tyson Fury soon triggered a rematch clause. Now, as Hitman ‘Agent 47’, a bald Usyk trotted in with the iconic red tie and sharpshooter gloves and made his resolve clear.
This time around, Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) might be a little more serious, having suffered a 12-round split skid. The Morecambe native, 36, even made a turnabout saying he won. Fury even billed that Usyk got sympathetic scoring due to the Russian-Ukrainian global conflict. However, ‘Cat’ pounces with his ‘Hitman’-like absolution clear, letting know how he plans to end this. He even walked out to the tunes of Ave Maria, ‘Op. 52 No. 6, “Hymne an die Jungfrau”: Ellen’s Gesang III’.

The worrying thing is the way Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) hurt him in the ninth frame. That shouldn’t have happened against a non-reactionary shot puncher of that caliber. While he did hit him quite an uppercut in the 6th, Fury needs some upgrades. With subpar output against Usyk and debutant Francis Ngannou, what else he brings in remains to be seen. However, ‘Hitman’ Usyk calling it nighty-night is quite viral.
Fight fans react to Oleksandr Usyk’s Hitman-heavy attire
Sporting a lumberjack look, Tyson Fury arrived at the press conference for his rematch with WBA, WBC, and WBO heavyweight champion Usyk on 21st December. Fury was seemingly docile and measuring up, with the smug intake of his recent loss to Usyk gone. He believes he was at his best hedging around 273 lbs in 2020 against Deontay Wilder. Hence, he is beefing up the same and will perhaps sport a solid timber.
It is still yet unclear how his changes will help. But the menacing Oleksandr Usyk was already the showstopper at the DAZN Pay-per-view (PPV) #Usyk-Fury2 conference. Touting a sharpshooter attire and an assassin briefcase, will he let the Brit take the unified heavyweight consignment away? No, he won’t — consequently, here is what fans think of it:

SAVAGE. Some people really understand what it takes to sell tickets. The fact that all fighters aren't thinking about what SELLS is a tragedy for the game.

Hitman ‘Agent 47’ has been a prime cosplay topic for many combat sports athletes. Consensus UFC superstar Conor McGregor even played himself in the Hitman 3 – IO Interactive – Celebrity Elusive Target pack. This was right after his UFC 303 (pay-per-view/ESPN+) pullout. It’s a widely popular character overall. But Usyk just brings in a menacing new glare for his resolve. Most fans have alluded to as much.
Tyson Fury’s manager Spencer Brown said the former WBC lineal champ would be respectful despite his gimmicks. He even believes he can win hearts and make it the ‘Fury’ show. But Usyk sold the purport of the show. He sold the idea that he’d get this one in the bag easily, and the mind game showed. A prime reaction (@KinoExotic_) even quoted “Agent 47 ready to finish the job“. All in all, his DAZN Pay-per-view (PPV) antics will remain quite viral.
