The ‘Cat’ stepped up and took the crown from The Gypsy King. As such, Oleksandr Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the 21st century. The Olympic gold medalist from Ukraine fought his heart out through the early jitters. Usyk also put Tyson Fury down in the ninth round of the fight. The fight could have ended then, had it not been for the bell.

Subsequently, Fury continued to fight back and made it to the 12th round before losing a split decision to Usyk, who will face Fury again in October. After all the pre-fight hype and post-fight chatter, the in-ring thoughts often sound like sincere reflections. However, Fury’s post-fight thoughts seemed to come as something of a surprise to many after losing against Usyk.

Cheer up boys, f**king ripped me off there.

After all of Fury’s pre-fight self-assurance over a comfortable win, an understandably despondent Fury now appears to be unhappy. This is because of the way in which the fight’s decisions were made. The Gypsy King personally believes that he did enough to win the fight.

He justified this by mentioning how he thinks he won the first few rounds. Furthermore, he acknowledged that Usyk won a few rounds, but he still asserted the belief that he won.

As such, he was spotted in the stands and has even gone between the ropes at some of the big heavyweight events. This time, he took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the division’s current state. Subsequently, he told his 44 million followers that Oleksandr Usyk‘s performance was ‘a mad hiding”. McGregor expressed how he would like to see Usyk fight Joshua or Fury next.

Furthermore, he stated that Fury should get another shot since Joshua did. However, if that does not happen, The Notorious would love to witness a trilogy fight between Usyk and AJ. In addition, he also mentioned how he would love to see Fury and Joshua fight
