UCF Knights brought Bill Belichick and UNC back down to earth after a blowout 34-9 win at home on Saturday (September 20). To celebrate the moment, the UCF mascot poked fun at Belichick’s relationship with his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

Belichick and the UNC team traveled to Orlando, Florida, following two straight wins against Charlotte and Richmond, after losing their opener to TCU. UCF, on the other hand, was among the few undefeated teams after two game days.

FOX Sports predicted Belichick’s Tar Heels team to secure a close win, but reality hit hard. UCF secured a famous 25-point win to improve its record to 3-0.

Shortly after the referee blew the final whistle, the UCF X account uploaded a photo that attracted a lot of attention. The image contained UCF mascot, Knightro, supporting a giant W on top of his arm and leg while lying down on a beach.

The mascot knew what he was doing. It was a recreation of the famous yoga pose by Belichick with Hudson at a beach in March. Hudson captioned it “hashtag Still got it.”

It did not take long for people to figure out the mascot’s intentions. And he received generous applause for his cheeky dig.

Belichick and Hudson began dating near the end of the 73-year-old’s tenure at the New England Patriots. The former cheerleader considers herself Belichick’s soulmate/manager/producer.

A former UNC standout, Devontez Walker, in an interview with TMZ, viewed the 45+ age gap as “crazy” but acknowledged that it’s working out for both of them.

UNC quarterback problems continued against UCF. South Alabama transfer Gio Lopez threw 2 interceptions on 11 completions for 87 yards before being replaced by senior Max Johnson, who threw one touchdown and 67 yards.

The Knights quarterback, Tayven Jackson, recorded his second 200-yard haul, one touchdown, and 10 carries for 66 yards on the ground.

UNC has tough fixtures coming its way in the following weeks. Rank 12 Clemson may be 1-3, but it would be foolish to underestimate them. The weeks after Clemson, UNC plays Cal, Virginia, and Syracuse.
