The Champions League Group Stage Draw 2021/22 is all set to begin in Istanbul Turkey in an eventful Thursday night. The Champions League 2020/21 holders, Chelsea are in the first pot. Also, the Russian and Ukrainian sides will not be drawn each other owing to political reasons.

First team drawn: Manchester City (finalists of the first season). They get placed in the Group A.

Second Team Drawn: Atletico Madrid. Placed in the Group B

Third Team Drawn: Sporting CP, the Portuguese Champions in the Group C

Fourth Team: Inter Milan placed in the Group D.

Fifth Team: Six time Champions League Group Winners in the Group E.

Sixth Team: Villareal placed in Group F after they registered the Europa League final victory

Seventh Team: LOSC Lille in Group G

Eighth Team: Chelsea, the Champions League 2020/21 winners, placed in Group H.

Set 2:

First Team: Borussia Dortmund, the German outfit have four options possible. (Group A- Group D). They are placed in Group C.

Second Team: Real Madrid are drawn and have five different possibilities. They are placed in Group D alongside Inter.

Third Team: Six time winners, Liverpool are drawn and have multiple options. They are placed in Group B.

Fourth Team: Paris St Germain goes into Group A. A “Group of Death” again on the cards?

Fifth Team: Juventus, the Italian giants are drawn. They are now placed in Group H alongside Chelsea.

Sixth Team: Barcelona are drawn now. They have two possibilities in Group E and Group G. They will feature in Group E against Bayern Munich.

Seventh Team: Sevilla FC, the Spanish outfit is placed in Group G. They will play alongside French champions.

Eighth Team: Manchester United ready to join Villareal and replay Europa League finals in Group F.

Set 3:

First Team: Shakthar Donetsk drawn. Eight options and they find themselves in Group D.

Second Team: SL Benfica have six options available now. They are placed in Group E and will face German and Spanish giants.

Third Team: Zenit St Petersberg with six groups available. Where will they be placed? The Russian winners are placed in Group H alongside Chelsea.

Fourth Team: RB Leipzig can be allocated in four groups. They are now placed in a possible Group of Death

Fifth Team: Atalanta are drawn and find themselves in Group F alongside Manchester United and Villareal.

Sixth Team: Salzburg, the Austrian side are placed in Group G. Their opponents are Lille and Sevilla.

Seventh Team: FC Porto placed in Group B.

Eighth Team: The Netherlands outfit, Ajax placed in the Group C.

First Team: Young Boys, the Swiss Champions are placed in Group F.

Second Team: Besiktas are drawn in Group C alongside Sporting, BVB and Ajax.

Third Team: AC Milan are drawn. Group A or Group B? And they complete the Group B.

Fourth Team: VfL Wolfsburg are drawn in the Group G with Sevilla and Lille.

Fifth Team: Club Brugge on their way to Group of Death? Yes. They are in Group of Death, the Group A.

Sixth Team: Malmo to play the Champions League champions, Chelsea.

Seventh Team: Dynamo Kiev goes to Group E.
