The draw for the Champions league quarter final stages took place in Nyom, Switzerland at 4.30 P.M IST. The 8 teams which qualified for the quarter finals are Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto FC and Real Madrid CF.

The draw was an open draw and any of the 8 teams could have been draw against any team. No country and seeded restrictions were in place and the semi-final route was also announced by former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich star Hamit Altintop and UEFA director of Competitions Giorgio Marchetti.

The results from the draw leave some interesting matches to be seen over the next month as the teams will play each other in a 2 legged tie ( Home and Away).

Quarter Final 1- Manchester City Vs Borussia Dortmund

Manchester City will have to go head to head against Halaand & Co. as the match promises to be a delight for football fans with lots of interesting match-ups to look forward to.

Quarter Final 2 – FC Porto Vs Chelsea FC

Chelsea have been handed a favourable draw in Portuguese opponents Porto. However, Chelsea should lightly at their own peril as Porto have had a dream run so far in the Champions league.

Quarter Final 3 – Bayern Munich Vs Paris Saint-Germain

The 2020 finalists face off yet again in what can be deemed as the best match-up of the quarter final stages.

Quarter Final 4 – Real Madrid Vs Liverpool FC

The 2018 finalists will meet again this year and Liverpool will look to avenge their 4-1 loss with a quarter final victory over the Madrid based side.

The first allotted teams will have their home games in the first leg and the second teams will play their home games in the 2nd leg of the Quarter-finals.

The draw for the Semi-final route to Istanbul was also announced in the draw by Giorgio Marchetti.
