UEFA Europa League: Real Sociedad vs AS Monaco Player Ratings as the Monaco secures a crucial 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad in Europa League clash
Real Sociedad secured an important draw against in form AS Monaco at their home. After conceding goal in 16th minute, Real Sociedad was looking out of sorts to score goal even after having high possession. But 53rd minute goal by Merino, calmed down the nerves in Sociedad’s camp and they managed to secure a draw convincingly in the end.

Alex Remiro (7/10): Remiro had a busy day throughout the game. He made two important saves and had 92% passing accuracy leading to effective build up for defense.
Aihen Munoz (6/10): In the game, Munoz played well in some patches. He made some importanct clearances and won tackles but his passing was not upto the mark.

Jozeba Zaldua (7/10): At right back, Zaldua was very impactful. He intercepted Diop and Lucas and also had excellent passing accuracy.
Ander Guevara (6/10): In the entire game, Guevara finding difficult to match the pace of movements made by Lucas and Fofana.
Mikel Merino (8/10): Merino was the player of the match for Real Sociedad. He had 80% passing accuracy and also scored the equalizer at 53rd minute.
Martin Zubimendi (7/10): Zubimendi improved his game with more time on the pitch. He was involved in many goal scoring chances with Merino and Portu, also he had 83% passing accuracy.
Mikel Oyarzabal (5/10): Oyarzabal was out of form and was unable to get in positions to receive the good movements made by Guevera and Portu.
Portu (7/10): At the striking position, Portu was spot on. He made some key passes Oyarzabal and Januzaj.
Adrian Januzaj(7/10): He had an excellent game with some very good passes to En-Neysri and Suso for goal scoring and also helped the team during defensive build up.
Substitutes
Benat Turrientes (6/10): After coming in as a substitute Turrientes tried to create penetrative chances in defense but his heavy touches were unable to make opportunities for Sociedad’s midfield.
Ander Barrenetxea (7/10): Barrenetxea was tactically brought in for bringing more pace for Real Sociedad and he did exceedingly well in the game to attack more.
Andoni Gorosabel (7/10): Alguacil wanted his defense to be compact so that they don’t concede any further goal to Monaco and Gorosabel did justice with some great blocks and top class passing.

Alexander Nubel (GK) (6/10): With the ball, he was struggling to create good passing chances for As Monaco and had only 35% passing accuracy with no impactful saves.
Caio Henrique (7/10): Henrique was very sharp on field as he made some important clearances for Monaco and won some critical tackles to stop Oyarzabal and Portu from getting in goal scoring areas.
Benoit Badiashile (7/10): Badiashile had an excellent game for AS Monaco on field, he won some excellent tackles and great clearances.
Axel Disasi (7/10): He was the best defender for Monaco. He scored the 1st goal for Monaco and gave them the initial lead.
Djibril Sidibe (6/10): Sidibe looked tactically in great positions during the game. He made some important clearances but his passing was poor which was giving advantage to Sociedad.
Sofiane Diop (7/10): In the entire game, Seiwald was impressive with his touches and he made the excellent assist to Disasi to score in the 16th minute.
Jean Lucas (8/10): Camara played a very critical role in Monaco’s midfield performance. Apart from winning tackles and making clearances. He had 84% pass completion and made some great interceptions.
Aurelin Tchoumeni (6/10): He was not able to create proper chances for the midfield. Even though he had 41 touches, but was unable to develop key goal scoring chances for AS Monaco.
Youssouf Fofana (5/10): Fofana was very ordinary in the game both on and off the ball. He had only 57% passing accuracy and was often tracked down by Zubeldia and Elustondo.
Krepin Diatta (6/10): Diatta had chances to make difference in the game for Monaco but his lack lustre touches where often blocked or cleared by Real Sociedad defenders.
Myron Boadu (7/10): Boadu was very smart with his runs and often troubled Sociedad defense. He had 86% passing accuracy and won some tackles to keep Monaco in advantageous position in the game.
Substitutes
Ruben Aguilar (7/10): In the 2nd half, he came in to strengthen the AS Monaco defense and he did amazingly well. He created more problems for Oyarzabal and Portu to create attacking runs.
Alexander Golovin (7/10): He replaced Fofana and had some great touches on the ball and made some amazing passes.
Kevin Volland (6/10): Volland failed to deliver the kind of attacking threat Boadu was creating on Sociedad’s defense.
Guillermo Maripan (7/10): Maripan coming in at 74th minute helped Monaco to create more chances in midfield and forward positions. He was able to run through on multiple occasions against Munoz and Zaldua.
