The third contest of the UFC 253 main card saw a Flyweight contest between Kai Kara France and Brandon Royval. In which Brandon Royval defeated Kai Kara France via submission in Round 2.
Going into the fight Don’t Blink’ Kai Kara is currently the seventh-ranked flyweight. While his opponent Rovyal is on the ninth spot. Thus, they will steadily look to climb the ride with a win this weekend. However, this was by no means an easy ride for them. Both the contenders surely had some special abilities that they will clearly use.

As the round commenced Royval started off in emphatic fashion. However the interesting thing was although Royval had more strikes. His opponent France had a better significant strike ratio. But the jabs and punches of Royval to the head of France did seem to have done the damage to score him well in the 1st round by a long margin. Royval had 24 more head strikes than France in the 1st round.

Round 2

As the second round started off Royval was pouring out confidence and quickly wanted to end the encounter. Royval clapped on a deep guillotine choke. Kara-France completed the takedown and was fighting the hands. But he choke was tight. Kara-France was close to popping his head out yet Royval adjusted and Kara-France can’t hang on anymore. The referee calls it.

Winner- Brandon Royval defeated Kai Kara France via guillotine choke in Round 2.
