UFC 253: Twitter, MMA community reacts to Adesanya’s TKO win over Costa

UFC 253 closed off with Israel Adesanya’s successful title defense against Paulo Costa. Adesanya’s precision and impressive game play was put into good use against the Brazilian, who lost to the champion via TKO in the second round. Following this, the MMA community exploded on Twitter, giving their thoughts on “The Last Stylebender’s” performance.

The reactions poured in from all sorts of people; from Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman to Jon Jones. Everybody gave their thoughts on the fight while some congratulated the Nigerian on his 9-0 win streak in the UFC. Adesanya still remains undefeated in the Octagon with 20 wins and 0 losses.

What’s next for Adesanya-

After his comfortable win against Paulo Costa, when asked who he wants to fight next, Adesanya called out friend Jared Cannonier after looking at his back to back dominant performances. Adesanya also went on to say that he would fight Cannonier if he beats former champ Robert Whittaker in his next fight.
