UFC 260: Sean O’Malley knocks Thomas Almeida out!

The much anticipated bantamweight fight between Thomas Almeida (22-4 MMA, 5-4 UFC) and Sean O’Malley (12-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) just went down and it showcased the return of “The Sugar Show”, and the fight ended with Sean O’ Malley defeating Thomas Almeida via knockout.

Round 1: Sean started the fight with aggression, and he controlled pretty much the entire round, he was landing some hard kicks to every part of Almeida’s body and Sean was looking as flawless as ever, he dropped Almeida with a head kick but didn’t followed it up, he was looking for a walk-off knockout but the ref didn’t stopped the fight and it went on.

Round 2: Everything Sean throws lands, every faint he throws is affecting Almeida. Sean was landing some nice combinations with incredible speed. Almeida was backed up in the corner but landed a couple of leg kicks which forced Sean to recollect and back up, but Sean dominated the entire round.

The Sugar Show is back!

Round 3: Sean is throwing the volume and is controlling the fight, he is leaving traps which seems are incredibly effective. Almeida’s leg seems busted and he starts to rush in and gets caught with a short hook which knocks him out.

Result: Sean O’Malley def. Thomas Almeida via knockout (punch) – Round 3, 3:52
