UFC 262: Rogerio Bontorin snatched the unanimous decision victory in a close contest

The bantamweight contest between Matt Schnell (15-5) and Rogerio Bontorin (16-3) was an exciting one UFC 262, and after 3 rounds of action, Rogerio Bontorin secured the victory over Matt Schnell via unanimous decision.
Round 1: Matt Schnell and Rogerio Bontorin both started the fight slow, Matt is really cautious of the takedown and because of that he is getting popped with punches, Bontorin is landing some nice leg kicks and even dropped his opponent with one of them. Matt is connecting with punches but isn’t doing much damage he gets hurt by a big hook, and remains calm for the rest of the round.
Round 2: For some reason Bontorin stopped throwing those leg kicks, but now his punches are starting to land. Matt is landing long and crisp combinations every time distance closes and Bontorin lands some big shots as soon as he get chances, Matt lands a big high kick to the temple but Bontorin stays right in the fight.

Round 2: Bontorin again goes back to those leg kicks, but Matt is still moving well, he is landing combinations but nothing significant. Bontorin kept the pressure high and lands a big punch that hurt his opponent and pushed him to the cage, Bontorin moved in with a barrage of punches and took Matt down to end the fight with amazing ground and pound. Another great fight at UFC 262.
