The Middleweight contest of UFC 266 featured the fight between the biggest names of the promotion, Nick Diaz making his comeback inside the Octagon after six years to face the former UFC Welterweight champion, Robbie Lawler.

Diaz defeated Lawler via TKO, 17 years ago and in a rematch for the ages at UFC 266 Lawler took his revenge on Nick Diaz and settled the score for his previous defeat. Both of them started with some nice and tactical strikes and Lawler continued to keep high pressure throughout the fight.

Nate Diaz landed some nice jabs and even wobbled Robbie Lawler with one of them in the second round. But Lawler continued to attack his body and in the end, won the fight by a third-round TKO.
