UFC 267 saw a new champion in the bantamweight division. Petr Yan put on absolutely dominating performance against Cory Sandhagen to become the interim bantamweight champion. Petr Yan vs Cory Sandhagen is undoubtedly a strong contender for “Fight Of The Night”.

UFC 267 took place in Abu Dhabi and the arena packed with the crowd was on the edge of their seats as they watched Yan and Sandhagen put on a striking masterclass for MMA fans all over the world. Several MMA fighters could not keep control of their reactions watching this amazing and fight and let it out on Twitter. This fight is one for the history books and rightly so. Petr Yan defeated Cory Sandhagen via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46) – to win the interim bantamweight title. From flying knees to spinning kicks, the two fighters showed it all in the co-main event.

The most awaited reaction was from the current bantamweight champion himself. Aljamain Sterling surely enough gave his two cents about this exciting title fight and congratulated Yan and showed his interest to fight the Russian in a title unifier. “Brilliant fight men! I have it 48-47 for Yan. You earned this first ass whooping! Rest up and enjoy the work you did. I’ll see you soon!” wrote Sterling.

UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman was surprised with the skillset of Cory Sandhagen. “Just letting y’all know now, this lil dude is a killa,” wrote Usman on Cory. However, we don’t know how well Sandhagen would like being called a “lil dude”.

UFC lightweight title contender Michael Chandler had high praise for this fight. Many would consider this reaction to be carried away.

The interim bantamweight title fight even got the attention of Alexander Volkanovski. The current featherweight champion was excited to watch this one. Another MMA veteran, Frankie Edgar also tweeted.

And Belal Muhammad had to come in with the funny tweet as he joked about Yan’s son looking like Hasbulla.
