UFC 269 will go down in history as one of the biggest moments in Mixed Martial Arts as bantamweight contender Julianna Pena upsets Amanda Nunes to become the new bantamweight champion.
You will never see something like this before. Julianna Pena was supposed to be just another fighter for Amanda Nunes but oh boy did the tables turn around. Amanda, the two-division champion in UFC and undoubtedly the greatest woman fighter of all time faced something she is not accustomed to, a monster who came prepared to upset.
Julianna “The Venezuelan Vixen” Pena tapped out “The Lioness” in the very second round shocking everyone in the world watching UFC 269. The fight took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pena lit up the entire arena as she created the biggest upset in UFC history. Just like any other person in this world, UFC stars could not believe their eyes as they reacted on Twitter.

UFC’s pound-for-pound champion Kamaru Usman could not believes his eyes as the massive underdog dethrones the greatest woman fighter of all time. “Wooooooooooooooow!!! What did I just watch?? Penaaaaaaaa!!!” wrote Usman as he was in a state of shock. There is no doubt Usman was screaming his heart out like the rest of us watching Pena.
UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling was beyond impressed with Pena’s performance. “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!! NEVER FORGET THAT!!” said Sterling about UFC 269 co-main event.
Julianna even got “El Cucuy” Tony Ferguson reacting on Twitter with her upset. Tony Ferguson wanted to remind his fans that it was the jab that got Julianna her victory.
UFC commentator Daniel Cormier, who was cage side when Julianna created history against Nunes, decided to let his thoughts known to the Twitter world. “Absolutely amazing! Congrats the Venezuelan Vixen!!! That’s why they play the game!” wrote DC.
Marc Raimondi, the ESPN reporter gave us an inside of what Pena said after possibly creating one of the biggest moments in UFC history. “I’m not surprised, motherf**kers,” she said.
