Julianna Pena just pulled out hands down possibly the greatest upset in the history of UFC as she dethroned the former UFC two-division champion Amanda Nunes to become the new UFC bantamweight champion at the co-main event of UFC 269. Pena choked out Nunes via second-round submission of rear-naked choke.

Pena is now 11-4 in her overall MMA career with the biggest win coming tonight against Amanda Nunes. It’s a long road for Pena to come to where she is as the fight was in the talks for years and now Pena proved to the majority of the world wrong about her potential.
