The opening fight of the UFC 269 main card features a bantamweight contest between one of the most popular names in the UFC Bantamweight division, Sean O Malley facing the Brazilian MMA fighter, Raulian Paiva. O Malley stepped into this fight on a two-fight winning streak with his latest win coming against Kris Moutinho on UFC 264.

Raulian Paiva on the other hand is stepping into this fight at UFC 269 with a three-fight winning streak with his latest win coming against Kyler Phillips at UFC on ESPN: Sandhagen vs Dillashaw.

Round 1: Paiva opens the fight with a jab and O Malley returns the favor with a leg kick. He throws a kick to the body and Paiva catches the kick and tries to secure a takedown. O Malley lands an oblique kick and Paiva takes a timeout due to the kick on the groin. Paiva lands a high kick to restart and O Malley switches stances and lands a hard jab. The ‘Suga’ Sean O Malley moved to second spot in the list of most knockouts in the Bantamweight division with a spectacular win against Raulian Paiva at the opening fight of UFC 269 main card. O Malley holds five knockout wins in the UFC Bantamweight division and he is just behind TJ Dillashaw who holds seven knockout wins in the division.

O Malley revealed that he got his ribs hurt during the training camp for this fight but still he stepped inside the Octagon and produced a show for fight fans around the world.
