“Hype is real” from Aljamain Sterling to Platinum Perry -Twitter reacts as Sean O’Malley gets another first-round KO at UFC 269
Sean O'Malley with an electrifying performance at UFC 269
The opening night of the UFC 269 pay-per-view card did not disappoint as bantamweight superstar Sean O’Malley pulls off yet another finish in his fight.
Sean O’Malley was put up against a dangerous Raulian Paiva at UFC 269. O’Malley made sure he put out a “Suga Show” for the fans in the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada as he lit up the crowd with his excellent display of striking. O’Malley pulled off a stunning win and got the W he needed to possibly put him against the ranked contenders.
O’Malley defeated Paiva via knockout in the very first round with a barrage of punches. The Suga Show proved that the hype is real. A crowd that witnessed a fairly slow start to the fight was left on their feet as O’Malley switched gears in the last minute of the first round to get a knockout. May UFC aces were as excited as the people at T-Mobile Arena and gave some amazing Twitter reactions.
Twitter reactions to Sean O’Malley at UFC 269
The bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling was more than impressed with the unranked bantamweight star’s performance today in Las Vegas. Suga Show even got the champion chanting his name, “O’MALLEY! O’MALLEY!” on Twitter.
Unlike the bantamweight champion, former UFC fighter and fan favorite, Platinum Mike Perry was very minimal with words appreciating Sean for his knockout. “Good work,” is all Mike had to say about the Suga Show’s performance.
Guilherme Cruz wanted to remind the world how good of a fighter Sean is. Cruz wrote, “Casuals don’t know Raulian Paiva but that’s a legit win for Sean O’Malley. Nice finish.” I am sure many fans resonate with Cruz’s reactions.
Top MMA reporters like Aaron Bronsteter, Brett Okamoto, and Ariel Helwani were very impressed to see O’Malley’s striking.
