These two titans of the Flyweight division collapsed with each other again at UFC 263 and this time Moreno wrote history by defeating Figueiredo with a third-round TKO and becoming the first Mexican-born UFC champion.  ‘Dues Du Guerra’ Deiveson Figueiredo is one of the biggest names in the UFC Flyweight division. He made his UFC debut against Marcon Beltran on UFC 212. Figueiredo lost only one fight in his UFC career before facing the defeat against Moreno. He won the UFC Flyweight championship by defeating Joseph Benavidez on UFC Fight Night: Benavidez vs Figueiredo 2.

The former champion defended his title for the first time against Alex Perez at UFC 255 and then ended with a draw against Moreno at UFC 266. Figueiredo got one point deducted in that fight due to a groin strike in the third round, else the result would have been declared in his favor.

In his rematch against Moreno, ‘Dues De Guerra’ lost the title that resulted in the second loss of his MMA career. Now the former champion will be looking forward to leaving the Octagon with the title around his waist in this fight at any cost.
