Watch: Robert Whittaker shares wholesome training video with children ahead of Israel Adesanya fight at UFC 271
Robert Whittaker and his family
Former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker is a man of the most elite skillset in MMA in the division right after the current champion Israel Adesanya. This is evident from the fact even when Adesanya knocked Whittaker out cold in 2019 to capture the title, Whittaker never let his spirits down and after that went on a three-fight winning streak, that too significant victories over former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till, Jared Cannonier and Kelvin Gastelum.
Besides that, Whittaker is a jolly personality and even more, a loving family man, who makes sure to give ample amount of time not only two himself and his training but also to his wife Sophia and all of his 4 children. And as of now, he manages it all despite his rematch and his second UFC title shot in his overall MMA career, against Israel Adesanya at UFC 271 in February 2022.

What do you make of this immensely cute video of Whittaker training with his child? Where do you put Whittaker amongst the all-time greats of UFC Middleweights? At the age of just 31, Whittaker has already made a Hall of Fame resume for himself with wins over the likes of Kelvin Gastelum, Jared Cannonier, Darren Till, Yoel Romero [twice], Ronaldo Souza, Derek Brunson, Uriah Hall, and Rafael Natal.
Also, who do you see it winning in the rematch between Adesanya and Whittaker? Both the fighters are extremely witty strikers and it would be hard to predict what strike will come next and how it will set itself up. Both the fighters are good at mixing it up in their offence, it’s that Adesanya turned out to be the smarter one to figure Whittaker out and be more unpredictable in the first fight.
