UFC 273 (main event): Alexander Volkanovski puts on a fighting clinic against The Korean Zombie for his third title defense

Alexander Volkanovski vs Chan Sung Jung is the main event of the UFC 273 card. This fight is one of the best featherweight matchups and will be a five-round stunner.

UFC 273 takes place at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The fight is packed with some of the biggest names and Alexander Volkanovski will headline them all in the main event as he picks The Korean Zombie as his next title contender. This is Chan Sung Jung’s second title shot and he is ready to give it all to become the first Asian male champion.

Volkanovski is coming off a fight of the night contender bout against Brian Ortega and is on his path to becoming one of the greatest featherweights of all time. He has wins over champions like Max Holloway and Jose Aldo under his belt and a win over The Korean Zombie could certainly cement his name in the conversation for the greatest featherweight of all time.

Alexander Volkanovski pieces Chan Sung Jung at UFC 273

Round 1 Volkanovski with a great low kick and an early connection with a left hand. An amazing right hand from Alex that wobbles Chan Sung Jung. Takedown for the champ but the two are up on their feet. Zombie is dropped with a left hand and immediately goes down with a low kick. Alexander looking real good after round 1

Round 2 Zombie manages to land a couple of strikes. An amazing check from Volkanovski as Chan looks for the low kick. Zombie is stung with an Alex counter. Zombie is down as Alexander drops him with a strong right hand. Zombie counters with a right but Alex goes for the takedown. Zombie is getting pieced up by the champ.

Round 3 Nice exchange from both the fighters to start off the round. Zombie gets a nice uppercut but Alex is unfazed. Zombie is managing to stuff takedowns from the champion. Great combo from Volkanovski. Zombie is dropped again by Volkanovski and Alex goes hard with his ground and pound but is saved by the bell.

Round 4 Alexander with another combo that stuns his title contender. Herb Dean was very quick to stop Alex from continuing to torment Zombie in the final rounds. Great call from the referee!
