UFC 274 (main-event): Charles Oliveira withstands the storm to finish Justin Gaethje to submission in the opening round

UFC Lightweight Charles Oliveira just put on another finish and the record holder for the all-time finishes in UFC history doesn’t change because “do Bronx” just landed another submission win and this time, in enemy territory of Justin Gaethje at UFC 274. Oliveira took only one round to break Gaethje down first with a knockdown of his own and then took the fight to the ground. Charles Oliveira defeated Justin Gaethje whilst withstanding a storm from his opponent

Round 1: Patience both sides. A big right from Charles. A leg kick from Gaethje. Gaethje knocks down Oliveira in a quick short exchange. Gaethje lands another knockdown. Oliveira trying to not rush at this time. Oliveira goes for a flying guard position to the ground but Justin lets Oliveira up with every knockdown or down position.

Oliveira lands a huge right hand and Gaethje gets down. Some positional changes from Oliveira… AND HE GETS IT! Charles Oliveira did what he does best and he secured a rear-naked choke over another remarkable opponent.
