UFC Lightweight Michael Chandler proved his willingness to win and he is set back to the winning column as he did the unthinkable by knocking out Tony Ferguson out cold at UFC 274, putting the crowd on a blaze of roars. Chandler is now 2-2 in the UFC and this was his first win in nearly one and a half years. Chandler is now 23-7 with 18 wins via finishes now. He has already landed a huge promo for his next fights as he has established a callout of the headliners of UFC 274, Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira.

His most significant callout is that of UFC megastar Conor McGregor, against whom Chandler has been consistent in calling out since last year. The first round between Chandler and Ferguson went close between both with Ferguson knocking down Chandler and Chandler grounding and pounding Ferguson at the end of it. It was in the second round that out of nowhere, Chandler landed a beautifully timed and accurately executed front kick that snapped Ferguson’s head backwards and made him lose unconsciousness on the spot.
