The strawweight queen has won over the hearts of all the fans with her recent performances and is the fan-favorite heading into her fight against Carla Esparza tomorrow in the co-main event. Thug Rose is coming off two consecutive wins against Zhang Weili in 2021.
Her very recent outing was a real test as Weili came more prepared after the devastating knockout loss at UFC 261. Despite all the struggles, Namajunas cruised through her title defense against the Chinese strawweight. The Namajunas vs Esparza fight has been in the making for a long time and has finally shaped into the perfect PPV card.
This is not the first time Namajunas and Esparza meet inside the octagon. The very first meeting was at the UFC, The Ultimate Fighter 20 finale in 2014 when Carla got the better of Thug Rose via submission in the third round.
