Shogun Rua vs Ovince Saint Preux
UFC 274 features one of the most legendary rematches between two veterans Shogun Rua and Ovince Saint Preux.
Shogun Rua and Ovince Saint Preux are both two of the most iconic light heavyweights in the history of the promotion. Both the fighters have legendary careers behind them and are once again back into the octagon to show the world they still have it in them. The two will take the center stage at the Footprint Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
Mauricio and OSP first met each other back in the year 2014 when Ovince got the better of his rival via a devastating knockout. Shogun has announced that he will be hanging the gloves after two fights which makes this fight more special. Shogun is coming off a loss against Paul Craig at UFC 255 in 2020.

Shogun Rua and Ovince Saint Preux go the distance
Round 1 Both the legends take the center of the octagon. A body kick from Shogun. OSP looking to find his range for his most powerful left kick. OSP lands some great body kicks that put the former champ on the back foot. Not a lot of action from the two veterans. Shogun manages to keep himself out of danger and those deadly OSP kicks.
Round 2 Beautiful low kick from Shogun Rua. The fighter still has not found his range but finally manages to throw a nice right hand. OSP throwing a huge left-high kick toward Rua. The Arizona crowd getting restless and booing one of the legends of the sport, Shogun Rua. OSP with a left kick and Rua responds with a counter. Great right hand from Shogun.
Round 3 OSP looking for the takedown and Shogun defends it with ease. OSP backs the former champ up and triggers a reaction from Rua. OSP manages to cut Rua’s face. The crowd still booing the two legends inside the octagon. Partially landed right hand for Rua but OSP is still unfazed. Rua looks a little beat up with a few seconds to go but still manages to throw a great right.
