UFC will hold its fifth pay-per-view eventof the year 2022, UFC 274 this weekend on 7th of may. The whole fight world is excited and looking forward to the matchups UFC 274 will bring to the table. In the main event of the PPV, former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira will take on contender Justin Gaethje. Even though Oliveira isn’t eligible for the belt, Gaethje can certainly win the belt if he defeats Oliveira on the night.

Apart from this fight, a women’s strawweight title bout is also scheduled as the co-main event of the PPV. In this fight, Rose Namajunas will defend her belt against “Cookie Monster” Carla Esparza. Rose is currently on a three fight win streak and has defended her title once against Zhang Weili from whom she once won the title. On the other hand, Carla is also on a five fight win streak and is undefeated since 2019. However, it is certain that she has not faced anyone as elite as Rose. This fight will definitely keep fight fans on their toes.

Another interesting fight that has just got its relevance with regards UFC lightweight belt is between Tony Ferguson and Michael Chandler. Since Charles Oliveira has missed weight, the winner of this fight might get the opportunity to fight for the title in their next few fights. Earlier this fight was only highly anticipated because of the fan following both Oliveira and Ferguson have. But, now there’s a purpose behind the same which makes it even more important and exciting.

UFC 274 is going to happen this Saturday night on 7th of May, 2022. The PPV will take place at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, United States.

Fight fans can enjoy the early prelims of UFC 274 with a subscription of UFC Fight Pass/ ESPN+ across the available nations, along with the entire preliminary card. However, the main card is available on different satellite channels as well.

United States: UFC fans in the US can watch UFC 274 early prelims on the ESPN+ streaming platform. However, for prelims and main card they have to visit ESPN or ESPN Deportes.

Ireland and UK: Fight fans in the United Kingdom can enjoy the main card on BT sports channel.
