Adding up the incentives, Whittaker will make somewhere between 400K and 700K for UFC 298. Whittaker is one of the highest-paid fighters in the UFC who is not a champion.

Paulo Costa is an inactive fighter who has also called out the UFC regarding fighter pay. As such, he had a renewed contract and now has a $250K base salary. If he wins at UFC 298, he could get an additional $250K. By adding up the incentives, Costa will make somewhere between $300K and $500K for UFC 298.

UFC 298 main card will begin with a middleweight bout between Roman Kopylov and Alexander Hernandez. A bantamweight bout between Henry Cejudo and Merab Dvalishvili will follow it. Cejudo has a similar contract to Paulo Costa, and he will make a similar amount, between $ 300K and $500K. On the other hand, Dvalishvili has a base salary of $150K. Therefore, he will make somewhere around $200K to $350K for UFC 298.

Geoff Neal is a veteran in the UFC’s welterweight division, whereas Ian Garry is an undefeated prospect. Neal has a $75K to show and $75K to win contract, whereas Garry has a slightly lower $70K to show and $70K to win contract.
