Lightweight standout Renato Moicano is all about the ultra-utilitarian approach and best opportunities at hand. ‘Money’ Moicano doesn’t shy away from airing his thoughts, keeping his word, even being a performative genie, or being dazzling on the mic. To that end, there’s a certain thing he promised his ’62-year-old father’ a while back. Renato Moicano has kept it and announced having more kids.
Moicano outlasted Drew Dober in a bloody UFC Vegas 85 co-main event in early 2024. Post-fight, he took the mic from Daniel Cormier to cut one of his bizarrely fun promos. He said if his ’62-year-old father’ can have a baby, then he could have a baby too and promised to do so. Fast forward to UFC 311 fight week, he seems to have kept the promise, populating the world with another ‘Money’ Moicano.
My family is about to…to get a little bigger, …my wife is like five months [in from due], So – in…in the end of July. Beginning of June! We’re going to have another son. What I like about USA is, uh, some of the core values of USA. Hard work, dedication, family, all that stuff. That was the best decision I have ever made…I’m happy, life is good. The notoriously unhinged promo on the mic had sparked a reaction even from “The Notorious” Conor McGregor. Moicano has never been one to have a shortfall on the mic. He once hijacked journo John Morgan‘s active commentary at Cage FC Fighting Championships to call out Paddy Pimblett.
The Brazilian star defeated Submission Hunter Pro champ, Cristian Guzman, at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 17 ( #FP17), and called out Ryan Garcia. Back then the boxer was a hot draw due to his antics. One cannot anticipate what the lightweight contender can come up with.

‘Money’ Moicano even went viral taking jabs at French President Emmanuel Macron to the pseudo-democracy. He recently battered Frenchman berserker Benoit Saint-Denis at the UFC Paris (UFC Fight Night 243) event headliner and cut electric promos. While he respects his ’62-year-old father’, entering UFC’s first pay-per-view of 2025, there is another particular old man that he thinks quite less of.

The announcement about his wife’s second pregnancy did bring a joy to the Brazilian fighter. In fact, just last year, UFC cutman Brad Tate trolled Moicano for not getting his wife pregnant on the Show Me The Money podcast. Come 2025, the son of Moicano will have a baby brother by his side.
Moicano and his wife, Priscila Van Der Brooke, was blessed with a son back in 2020. The exact birthdate remains unknown as the couple has yet to reveal much information about the young boy. From the Instagram account of Moicano, it is evident that the young takes a vested interest in martial arts.
