The Korean Zombie surely had a devastating result against the champ Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 273. The champ has advice for Chan Sung Jung on what his next move should be regarding his professional career.

Alexander Volkanovski took on Chan Sung Jung in the main event of UFC 273 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The featherweight champion absolutely destroyed the contender as he won the fight via TKO in the fourth round. In the post-fight interview, The Korean Zombie spoke about hanging his gloves from the sport after an amazing career.

Chan’s goal was to become a champion of the UFC featherweight division but has come short in the two opportunities he has had. Volkanovski recently spoke to TMZ Sport following his win last weekend and he talks about Zombie’s emotional post-fight interview.

“I felt bad as well. He said something about, he hit a wall and he didn’t know what to do. I sort of want him to know that anyone that was in front of me that night would have felt the same,” said Volkanovski talking to TMZ Sports.

“It depends what’s his goal. Is it his goal just to be champion? Alright, while I am here, maybe it is time,” said Volkanovski. “But I mean if you think you can’t compete or something with the top guys, he has already shown that he can. He’s still beating the top guys and he still can definitely beat the top guys.”

“Will he take the belt from me anytime soon? I don’t think so. I think that is very far out of reach and he knows that. And that is why he is looking at, ‘what do I do from here?'” said Volkanovski about Korean Zombie’s decision to retire after UFC 273.

Korean Zombie has been a part of the UFC for more than a decade and is one of the most entertaining fighters with a huge fan base. Alex on the other hand is looking to push for the double champ status and will surely look to fight the winner of UFC 274, next.
