Arnold Schwarzenegger praises Stipe Miocic
Stipe Miocic found himself running into Arnold Schwarzenegger and the duo ended up praising each other.
Miocic is considered one of the best heavyweights of all time and has achieved everything in his professional career. In his last fight against Francis Ngannou at UFC 260, Miocic lost his heavyweight title. Currently, he is the #2 fighter in the UFC heavyweight rankings and is not officially scheduled to fight with anyone.
But after former light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones showed his interest to fight with Miocic, fans are now excited to see that match-up.
Arnold Schwarzenegger praises Stipe Miocic’s fighting style
Miocic recently posted a clip on his official Instagram account. In the clip, the former UFC heavyweight champion can be seen meeting the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The pair got the opportunity to walk into each other at the International Sports Hall of Fame event. During the conversation, Schwarzenegger revealed that he is a huge fan of Miocic and always adores watching him fight. The former Mr. Olympia expressed his gratitude towards Miocic for being so great and entertaining him for years.
According to Schwarzenegger, Miocic‘s fighting style is very good and efficient and it amazes him every time. “All I tell you, I love watching your fights. Oh man, you have been so fantastic. Entertaining me for years… Oh man, it’s unbelievable, it’s so good, so targeted. It’s still effective for me, is like I was always in awe,” said Schwarzenegger.
Schwarzenegger has been a fan of UFC for a long time and has been following the sport on a regular basis. As a viewer, it’s not unnatural for him to like and respect UFC fighters. Similarly, Schwarzenegger is well respected in the fighting community as well. The 74-year-old is a hero to many people and has motivated them to do something in life.
Even at such an old age, Schwarzenegger is still participating in various public events to show his support. He recently hosted the Slap Fighting Championship with internet personality, Logan Paul. Looking at how fit and energetic Schwarzenegger is easy to say he will be in the headlines for many upcoming years.
