Kevin Holland submits Tim Means at UFC Austin

UFC Austin co-main event is here and this is an exciting one. Kevin Holland takes on Tim Means in a welterweight matchup. Both the fighters are exciting to watch however the Austin crowd will be rooting against the veteran Means and wish their very own Holland gets his second win in the welterweight division.

Kevin Holland is one of the most exciting fighters on the UFC roster. The fighter has entertained everyone with his talking and also his fights in the octagon. Holland was the Fighter of The Year in 2020 with five wins in a single year. The trailblazer however had a disappointing 2021 which forced him to move down a weightclass. Holland has already fought once in the 170-pound division against Alex Oliveira. Holland will look to get another win in the welterweight division against the veteran Tim Means.

Round 1 Tim comes in with his right arm swinging and Kevin Holland catches him in the clinch. Holland looking way quicker than Means in the octagon. A quick elbow from Holland followed by a high kick. Kevin with a huge reach advantage as he lands a knee to the face. Tim takes Holland down but the Trailblazer is back on his foot.

Kevin immediately launches with an amazing combination that hurts Means but a clinch prevents Holland from inflicting more damage. But only for a little time as Kevin lands another combo. Great pace for this bout. Huge straight hand to Means’s face which hurts him bad but the bell goes off.

Round 2 Once against the Trailblazer comes out blazing and hurts Tim with a sick combo. A huge right-hand lands which wobbles Means. Tim goes for the grapple but Kevin does not give up his position and instead goes for the choke and submits Means. Holland is not one usually to excel on the ground but it shows that the former middleweight has put in a lot of work to his game.
