The fighter explained that the finishes will happen soon at the right time. He also compared his situation with great champions such as Nurmagomedov and Usman. Muhammad explained that these guys had to face the critisism for not getting finishes in thier early career but as later they stacked up multiple finishes. The fighter promised that it’s going to be the same with him too.
“It’s gonna come man! A lot of people give me flak on that, ‘oh, he needs to finish the fight, bla bla bla. It’s gonna come at the right moment, it’s gonna come at the right time, like it’s happened with Champion, Kamaru, Khabib, and all of them guys. They had those times, oh! these guys don’t finish, and then all of a sudden, back to back to back finishes, and I think it’s gonna be the same way.” said Muhammad.
It will be harder for Muhammad to achive what Nurmagomedov and Usman have done in their careers. But, for a 33 year old there is still time and resources to make changes in his game and get those much needed finishes.
