Charles Oliveira- Conor McGregor
UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira is at the top of the world and if not UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman, then its Oliveira running as the 2021 Fighter of the Year. Not only Oliveira won the UFC Lightweight Championship against Michael Chandler at UFC 262 and that to the world’s surprise via knockout, UFC 269 proved that why he will go on to become one of the best fighters fighting out of Brazil in UFC history when he submitted the heavy favourite Dustin Poirier for the first successful title defence.
It didn’t took UFC megastar Conor McGregor to tweet out and ask right some time after UFC 269 tweeting, “So what date am I fighting Oliveira?” This single handedly sparked some heat in the lightweight division for the fighters in line such as UFC Lightweight Justin Gaethje won’t tolerate McGregor skipping the line in front of the fighters to fight Oliveira for the title, especially Gaethje.

What do you make of Charles Oliveira’s interest to fight Conor McGregor as soon as summer of next year? Who do you think wins this fight if it happens? Oliveira will keep on giving the threat of his diverse striking to get his opponent on the ground and finish him, but before that, he has to respect McGregor’s ability to knock him out at any unpredictable second of the first two rounds.
