Rob Font won the fight via a lopsided decision against ‘No Love’ at UFC Vegas 27. The former champion fell short against Font’s striking masterclass. Soon after the loss, ESPN followed the fighter to his bus and gave us a sneak peek of what goes down after a fight is over. Cody Garbrandt will never quit as he son looks up to him
There is no doubt that Cody Garbrandt looked devastated after his loss. But Garbrandt is seen saying that he wouldn’t want to break down and set a bad example to his kid that looks up to him, so he would continue to keep getting up no matter what. “I got a son that looks up to me and I just want to show him that you can never give up, no matter how many times you get knocked down,” said Cody in the video.
Cody is 12-4-0 in his career and has been looking to get back his bantamweight title. His fight against Font was Cody’s first fight in a year since he suffered from Covid-19.
