UFC Vegas 105 featured a thrilling flyweight clash between Ode Osbourne and rising undefeated prospect Luis Gurule. Despite Gurule’s momentum, Osbourne secured a dramatic win in a bout filled with explosive exchanges and relentless action. The post-fight moment stole attention as Osbourne shared a memorable and emotional conversation with UFC legend Michael Bisping.

The electrifying flyweight clash ended in round two when Osbourne secured a TKO win over the previously undefeated Gurule. The ‘Jamaican Sensation’ landed a clean counter left hand that folded Gurule instantly, followed by precise ground-and-pound to finish. During the octagon interview, Bisping mistakenly praised a right hand, prompting Osbourne to quickly correct him with humor.

The brief exchange between Osbourne and Bisping went viral, showcasing both Osbourne’s sharp memory and Bisping’s good-natured professionalism. Fans appreciated the respectful correction and camaraderie, adding another layer of entertainment. Without the presence of Joe Rogan, the former middleweight champion has been one of the regulars when it comes to interviews.

Mistakes like these are common, and fans have seen Rogan and Daniel Cormier make silly errors during commentary and interviews. Regardless, Osbourne didn’t make any mistakes and delivered a highlight-worthy finish, showcasing sharp technique and composure inside the Octagon. After securing the win, he gave thanks to God and expressed gratitude to his hardworking teammates for their continuous support.

Going into the fight against Luis Gurule, Ode Osbourne was the underdog, which came as a surprise to him. Gurule entered the bout undefeated with ten wins, while Osbourne had lost three straight and held a 12-8 record. Despite that, Osbourne remained confident, and patiently waited for the perfect moment to deliver a stunning knockout victory.

Other than his striking, Osbourne also looked confident on the ground and was able to defend himself effectively. The veteran was seen struggling with wrestling in the past, but it seems like he has developed his skills. In the interview, Osbourne talked about his sessions with former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling

Aljamain Sterling, they been giving me great grappling rounds. I work with Aljo so much. So, I wasn’t afraid of him taking me down because I know eventually I’ll get back up.

Sterling is well known for helping other UFC fighters by sharing his grappling expertise, helping them improve their ground game. He has always tried to promote team growth by creating a supportive gym environment and celebrating teammates’ progress inside and outside the cage. One of the biggest examples is his collaboration with the current champion and his friend, Merab Dvalishvili

Despite his own career going through a downfall, the talented fighter has been readily available for his teammates. The support and effort made by the ‘Funk Master’ was visible by Ode Osbourne’s comments. However, unlike Aljo’s recent fights, Osbourne did manage to get a massive knockout finish.

Biggest left-handed punchers in UFC history

Some of the biggest left-handed punchers in UFC history include Conor McGregor, whose laser-accurate left hand led to multiple knockouts. The Irish fighter has knocked out some huge names in his prime, which helped him become a global superstar. Dustin Poirier, a natural southpaw, combines power and volume in his left. Similarly, Alex Pereira, though orthodox, has an explosive left hook that has dropped elite opponents like Israel Adesanya

Over the last few years, Pereira has become the most dangerous strikers in the world. The legendary Anderson Silva, often in southpaw stance, used his left with pinpoint precision. While it doesn’t really matter which hand, one maybe led to believe that left-handed punchers have ruled the UFC through their mesmerizing knockouts.
