Vicente Luque is on a four-fight winning streak, and he seemingly called out Nate Diaz during his post-fight interview. Nate Diaz returned to the octagon to fight Leon Edwards, although he lost the fight Nate stunned him in the final seconds of the fight to impress everyone in the octagon.
Diaz recently teased a fun matchup with the former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier, and it looks like he is ready to fight Luque as well. He posted a video of Luque calling him out which indicates that he is somewhat interested in this fight.
Luque seemed more than happy to accept this fight, he wrote, “Can’t imagine a more exciting fight right now!!! I’m in”
Luque has been involved in some of the most gruesome battles throughout his career and “The Stockton Slugger” Nate Diaz is known for his “never back down,” attitude. On paper, this is a great fight, and if Luque can pass this test, then he’ll be next in line for the title.

Diaz’s long-time rival Conor McGregor took this chance to troll Diaz, he claimed that Diaz is not fighting unpopular guys, and soon he will fight at Fight Nights instead of pay-per-views. He wrote this from his Twitter account, “Luque hahahahaha who?”

Conor is currently recovering from a leg injury he sustained against Dustin Poirier at the main event of UFC 264, he claimed that he will get his rematch against Dustin upon his return, but he also liked the idea of taking on the trilogy match against Nate Diaz.
These two have elevated the sport of MMA in terms of viewership, and the third fight between them would be the biggest event in the history of MMA.
