Conor McGregor recently invited Academy Award winner Jared Leto to practice the part with him after the 50-year-old Hollywood star commented on dreaming of playing the ‘champ champ’ on the silver screen. Jared who was seen sporting a beard said that he wasn’t too sure about his physique but added that he sure could play Conor with that beard.
With Jared‘s interest in playing McGregor’s part and Conor responding to it, Nate Diaz did have something to say about his part in the movie that would be made. Conor and Nate have also been going back and forth on Twitter after Conor’s trouble with the law, Nate seems ready to fight Conor and finish their trilogy.
Nate Diaz tweets his opinion on who should play his role in Conor’s movie has to be the best tweet reply out there today. Nate said: “Wolverine could play my part so we can see him beat Jared Leto’s ass that be fun right” to which Conor had a great comeback, which was also deleted. Conor said that Nate would probably be played by the differently-abled kid in ‘Breaking bad’ (Walter White Jr.) who also had a slight speech impediment like Nate.
“The kid that played Heisenberg’s son in breaking bad is who will play you. Virtually identical.” ~ Conor McGregor’s Deleted tweet
Nate fired back at McGregor’s insult by calling him ‘Warwick Davis’, taking a dig on Conor’s height. McGregor then posted a poster of fan-made art poster of Jared Leto in ‘Champ Champ’ while captioning it “I’m the executive producer”.
“I would be shocked if that fight didn’t happen” Dana White on Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz’s trilogy fight
Dana White probably knows who Conor is going to get next and indicates that even if not for Conor’s summer return, Nate and McGregor are most likely to clast in the octagon before either one of them retires for good. Nate who has one fight left in his contract wants to fight Dustin Poirier but with Conor and Nate going back and forth, looks more like the Trilogy fight is in place.
Dana said that “I wouldn’t count out a Conor/Nate 3…Listen, I’d be shocked if that fight didn’t happen again…He’s chomping at the bit to come back (McGregor). Realistically, when you look at everything that he’s got going on right now with coming back, and other things that need to be done to get ready to prepare again, it’s probably early fall.”
While Conor is eyeing for the Welterweight belt, it’s highly unlikely that he would get a title shot after three straight losses in his last three fights unless Kamaru Usman really wants to fight McGregor too.
