Irish superstar Conor McGregor once again landed on hot waters after a woman accused him of attempted rape. The sexual assault incident allegedly occurred in Game 4 of the NBA Finals featuring the Denver Nuggets and home team Miami Heat. Earlier last week, McGregor and the Miami Heat mascot performed a skit during Game 4, where the UFC superstar punched the mascot into getting hospitalized.
The sexual assault controversy is not new for McGregor. He was accused of sexual assault multiple times before. However, this time, the alleged victim accused the Miami Heat Securities of helping McGregor commit the heinous act. What did the woman in Miami accuse Conor McGregor of?
TMZ Sports acquired letters of the report of the alleged sexual assault case. The woman claimed that the NBA and Heat Security collaborated with McGregor to separate her from her friend. She was then forced into a restroom where the Irish superstar waited.
The woman’s lawyer claimed that Conor McGregor emerged out of nowhere to kiss the victim aggressively. According to the letter, the woman managed to get McGregor off by telling him of wanting to urinate. However, the letter states that McGregor allegedly forced her to give oral sex.
How did the woman escape from Conor McGregor, and what are the legal proceedings of the sexual assault case?
After McGregor allegedly forced her to have oral sex, the Irishman pinned her against the wall and attempted to sodomize her. The woman escaped the former champion by “elbowing” him multiple times. When she escaped, the woman forgot to take her purse that McGregor’s security had taken hostage. She had to plead multiple to get her belongings.
Once the incident ended, the woman reported the incident to the local law enforcement. The woman met the cops with her attorney, Ariel Mitchell, and is seeking settlements from the NBA, Miami Heat, and McGregor.
Statements from Conor McGregor, NBA, and the UFC about the sexual assault incident in Miami
Through his attorney, Conor McGregor has denied the allegations as a false accusation. The attorney wrote, “Mr. McGregor will not be intimidated.” The Miami Heat and the NBA are currently gathering more information about the incident and the involvement of their security guards.
The UFC also released a statement about the incident. The spokesperson said, “The organization is aware of the recent allegations regarding Conor McGregor and will continue to gather additional details regarding the incident.
