UFC: Conor McGregor seems keen to take on Nick & Nate Diaz

After Nick Diaz is being speculated to make a UFC return, many fighters have shown interest in fighting the elder Diaz brother. The new edition to the list of those fighters is Conor McGregor. Who is well known for his heated rivalry with Nick’s brother Nate Diaz.
The UFC’s official Twitter account for its broadcasts on BT Sport timely tweeted a photo of the Diaz brothers, celebrating the pair and their fanbase.
It seemed to catch McGregor’s eye, and he teased that he was open to a third meeting with Nate Diaz (again), as well as a bout with Nick Diaz.
McGregor’s bitter rivalry with Nate Diaz provided fight with two memorable bouts. At UFC 196, Nate shocked the world by submitting the fiery Irishman. Months later Conor got his revenge via unanimous decision at UFC 202. Talks of a trilogy fight have been hot and cold since then, but not enough traction was ever gained.
Current Scenario
However as per the current scenario Nate Diaz would be fighting against Jorge Masvidal again at UFC 257. While McGregor is enjoying his retirement outside the octagon. UFC President Dana White had previously confirmed that the latter would not fight in the octagon for at least the remainder of 2020.
Whereas, as far as Nick Diaz is concerned, he hasn’t been seen in active MMA competition since UFC 183. Where his main event fight with Anderson Silva went from a loss to a no-contest. As both men failed post-fight drug tests.
Suspensions and evident lack of desire to return to the cage have stopped a potential return for the Nick Diaz. But it was revealed earlier that the elder Diaz brother had done a test weight cut. With the aim of eyeing a possible 2021 return.
