“You are a skid mark to me” Conor McGregor shuts down Henry Cejudo as he calls out the Irishman for a fight
Conor McGregor and Henry Cejudo verbal warfare
Conor McGregor has made the hit-list of many fighters in the UFC roster and Henry Cejudo is the latest to add the Irishman to his target list. However, the Notorious One says he does not look at Cejudo as a real threat.
There is no doubt that Notorious One is the biggest draw in all combat sports. The fighter has unbelievable pull in terms of audience and is hence targeted by almost everyone in the fight industry. So much that even someone as decorated as Henry Cejudo wants a piece of McGregor inside the octagon to cash out one of the biggest paychecks of his career.
In a recent back-and-forth battle, Henry launched an attack on the Irish superstar and wrote, “I know you are scared to fight me but slow down buddy. I need you to get injured during the fight….not before.” Cejudo wrote this tweet in reference to the recent training sessions that Conor has been posting on social media since his injury.
“Mate, I don’t give two f**k about you. You are a nobody. Who the f**k even are you? You are a little skid mark to me, stop messaging me, thanks,” clapped back McGregor dismissing Cejudo’s call out. The Notorious One says that the Olympic winner, 2X champion is not even on his radar.
Henry Cejudo attacks Conor McGregor for his trouble with the law
After Conor responded to Henry’s call-out, the fighter deleted his response. MMA Twitter is accustomed to seeing the Irishman delete his tweets within 24 hours of posting them. However, Cejudo managed to find Conor’s reply in a post from ESPN MMA and responded to the Irishman, but this time got a little too personal.
“The only skid mark you should be worried about is the one you caused by driving like an arse. I’m a 2X Champ and an Olympian. I’ve had gold around my neck. You’ve had silver locked around your wrists,” Triple C wrote. Conor was recently arrested for speeding in his hometown, Cejudo takes a dig at that and the numerous other occasions in which Conor has managed to himself handcuffed by the police.
Conor has not fought since UFC 264. The fighter is looking to recover from his injury and is aiming to return this fall. The return of McGregor is much awaited and there is a high possibility that the Irishman could walk straight into a title shot on his return.
