The MMA community is experiencing a new social media rivalry that has been around for a while now. It is the series of online insults thrown toward each other by Conor McGregor and Henry Cejudo.

Both the former UFC double champs have made it clear that things just don’t work out between them. Recently, ‘the Notorious’ shared a clip of him training his boxing skills on Twitter. Cejudo replied to the tweet by pointing out the lack of traps, level changing, etc.

“Everything is done naked. No fakes, no faints, no level changes. But you think your going to get a different result. You work to much on combinations where you should be working entries, set ups, and setting traps. Just a tip from the goat ? mahhhh,” wrote Cejudo.

After Cejudo’s comments regarding the training footage of Mcgregor, the Irish didn’t take much time to hit back. McGregor replied to Cejudo explaining that the opening punches are considered traps or feints. The ‘Mystic Mac’ made fun of Cejudo by claiming that his little efforts are not good enough.

McGregor suggested Cejudo try harder to get a response. McGregor also called out Cejudo for being a fat novice with only two knockouts in the bantamweight division. He, on the other hand, has over twenty knockouts in all three divisions he competed in. In the end, McGregor asked Cejudo to be quiet.

“The opening punches are the traps/feints/fakes. You ever hear or see that before? Your little feints won’t draw me out, kid. But pump a few real shots you might get a response. You are a little fat novice with about 2 ko’s. At bantam. I’ve 20. Across 3 divisions. Quiet, you bum!,” wrote Mcgregor.

It seems like the current feud between Cejudo and Mcgregor is not going to end anytime soon. Both the superstars are not letting this go and are eager to ridicule each other on social media. Now that some fight fans are expecting that this might lead up to a fight between Cejudo and McGregor, it’s probably never going to happen.
