Conor McGregor has confirmed that he has intentions to get that welterweight belt from champion Kamaru Usman. McGregor is one of the biggest stars both inside and outside of the octagon. The Dubliner throughout his UFC career has achieved a tremendous fan following and made millions of dollars. Other than being one of the biggest trash talkers and attention gatherers in the game, McGregor has proved his dominance inside the octagon too.

McGregor won his first-ever UFC title by beating the featherweight king, Jose Aldo at UFC 194 in 2015. He later made history by beating Eddie Alvarez to become the first-ever double champion in UFC history. In a recent interview with The Mac Life, McGregor revealed that he wants to return to the welterweight division and get the 170-pound title shot against Usman.

While talking about Usman, McGregor said “I feel confident against Usman. A jab happy, sloppy, orthodox wrestler with no submissions whatsoever. What’s he gonna do? Where’s the danger here? I don’t see danger with.”

McGregor has now made his plans clear regarding his future in the UFC. The former double champ recently took to Twitter where he gave an insight into his future fights. ‘The Mystic Mac’ predicted his upcoming achievement as the first-ever triple champion in the history of the promotion. ” The UFC Triple weight world champion,” wrote McGregor in his tweet.

There were several assumptions regarding the much-awaited comeback of McGregor in the MMA community. Many fighters wanted to fight him and the Irishman was also part of many internet disputes with UFC superstars. Fight fans are extremely excited to see who McGregor is going to fight and when.

Now the whole community might take a break as ‘The Notorious’ has finally made his plans about taking on Usman for the welterweight title. The fight between Usman and McGregor is very intriguing and has gathered a lot of attention. McGregor is considered one of the best strikers in the game but has not been at his best for years now.
