The UFC promotion has witnessed some of the biggest stars in the promotion becoming the face of the sport over the years. Many of them helped this MMA promotion to become one of the biggest MMA promotions in the year and created a landmark in the history of this sport.

The former UFC Lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov is considered the same by many UFC pundits but the UFC president Dana White believes it is Khabib’s arch-nemesis, Conor McGregor who helped the business to reach new heights.

Talking about the same in his latest interview with Teddy Atlas, the UFC president Dana White says, “There’s been a lot of fighters that have been incredibly loyal to me and I’ve been incredibly loyal to them,”

Apart from ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor, the UFC president Dana White named two UFC Hall of Famers who has been a gem for his business, White added,

“The Ronda Rousey’s, Chuck Liddells, Matt Hughes, Conor McGregor, I don’t want to not mention people but there’s been a lot of fighters over the last 20 years that have been very loyal.”

In the same interview, Dana White also admitted that Khabib Nurmagomedov isn’t one of the G.O.A.T in UFC history because of his early retirement. White continued, “I think Khabib Nurmagomedov probably could be called the greatest ever, who knows if he’d stuck around longer. It was unfortunate, the passing of his father.”

“You know, he’s just gotten to a point in his life where, you know how that goes too when you’ve got so much money it changes everything. The fight business is a tough business to get up and go to every day when you’ve got that kind of money.”
