“Don’t think Colby’s felt power”- Darren Till offers his prediction for the Colby Covington vs Khamzat Chimaev scrap
Khamzat Chimaev Colby Covington and Darren Till
Daren Till believes Khamzat Chimaev can Knockout Colby Covington during the fight. After showcasing a spectacular performance and beating Gilbert Burns at UFC 273, Chimaev has proved that he is not just a hype train.
Currently his name is being linked with Covington in an upcoming potential welterweight showdown. Stylistically the fight will be a treat to watch for the fight fans.
Since the rumours regarding the fight started, fight fans have been extremely excited for this to happen. Both Covington and Chimaev are great fighters and trash talkers. It will be interesting to see how things will turn out between the pair during the build up of the fight.
Darren Till predicts a potential fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Colby Covington
Till recently appeared in the Submission Radio YouTube channel and discussed his opinions after what happened at UFC 273. In the interview, the fighter talked about Chimaev, his upcoming opponents and possible middleweight title shot.
During the interview, Till was asked about who he wants to see against Khamzat Chimaev next. While responding to the question, the Brit was clear that he would like it if the bout between Chimaev and Covington took place. According to Till, the fight is best for both Covington as well as Chimaev and the fans will love it.
Till was confident about his friend’s abilities as he said Chimaev would Knockout Covington during the fight. Till explained that Covington is a good fighter but he hasn’t experienced power like ‘The Borz’. “I would like to see him fight Colby in a five round event. I think that’s the best thing for both guys . I think Khamzat can knock him out, I don’t think Colby’s felt power like Khamzat,” said Till.
Such words from Till were pretty normal as he trains with Chimaev regularly and supports him. But it’s not a secret that Chimaev does have the power to knock out fighters. But more than that Chimaev can take shots and withstand them without falling. It was seen in his last fight with Burns in which the fighter took some nasty shots but was marching forward desperately to get a finish. Let’s see if the fighter will take the similar approach while fighting Covington or not.
